An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in Aurora, IL. This position focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services within a dynamic educational environment. Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning skills for pediatric populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions to improve communication skills
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district guidelines
- Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) conferences
- Serve as a resource and consultant for educators and families
